Lobular Breast Cancer Parliamentary Debate

On the 10th December 2024 we attended the Lobular Breast Cancer Parliamentary Debate in Westminster Hall. The Lobular Moon Shot Project team were honoured to collaborate with Labour MP Helen Hayes who read the motion and kindly arranged the parliamentary debate for us, regarding research into the biology, treatment and funding for Lobular Breast Cancer.
The debate was attended by cross-party MPs and the Minister of State for Health (Secondary Care) Karin Smyth MP. At the Lobular Moon Shot Project we are lobbying the government to provide £20 million in order for the Manchester Breast Centre to begin a five-year research programme into Lobular Cancer.
You can watch the stream of the debate here or on our media page
