Silent Vigil

22 women standing for the 22 a day diagnosed

The Lobular Moon Shot Project is the most bi-partisan supported campaign in the nation, and we now have over 380 supporting MPs (>50%) who have called on the Government to fund this vital project.

22 women are diagnosed everyday in the UK (1,000 globally) with lobular breast cancer. A cancer that rarely shows on a mammogram and has no specific treatment.

On the 24th June 2025 at 3pm local time, 22 ladies all diagnosed with Lobular Breast Cancer, stood together in the heat for 22 minutes outside Downing Street. This was to honour the 22 ladies who were diagnosed with the disease that day, and those who will be diagnosed with the disease every day in the future. The 22 ladies stood outside Downing Street in London in silence with a banner calling on behalf of the Lobular Moon Shot Project; all in order for the government to fund a five year £20 million research project into the basic biology of this unique type of breast cancer.
