Silent Vigil

22 women standing for the 22 a day diagnosed

The Lobular Moon Shot Project is the most bi-partisan supported campaign in the nation, and we now have over 350 supporting MPs (>50%) who have called on the Government to fund this vital project.

22 women are diagnosed everyday in the UK (1,000 globally) with lobular breast cancer. A cancer that rarely shows on a mammogram and has no specific treatment.

On the 24th June in Whitehall, Downing Street, London - to raise awareness of Lobular Breast cancer, MPs and those diagnosed will be standing in silence for 22 minutes; in solidarity with the 22 women who will be diagnosed with the disease every day - for those who deserve better. The project and volunteers are raising money for research into the basic biology of this unique type of breast cancer. Research is set to begin at the at Manchester Breast Centre once we obtain £20 million target.
